Cold-rolled steel sheets are used for parts that require a large degree of plastic

 deformation of the material and must not have wrinkles or cracks on the surface

Different grades of steel sheets are used for different parts. For example, the

standards for Japanese automobile steel sheets are divided into three

categories. The first category (SPCC) is ordinary cold-rolled steel sheets, which

are usually rolled from boiling steel. The second category (SPCD) is rolled steel

drawing.

Hot-rolled steel plate

The manufacturing process is simpler than that of cold-rolled steel plate, and the

cost is also lower. However, foreign experience shows that the hot rolling method

is only suitable for manufacturing steel plates with a thickness of more than 1.6

mm. It is not economical for thinner steel plates. The surface quality and

dimensional accuracy of hot-rolled steel plates are not as good as those of cold-

brackets of the frame, hot-rolled steel plates on automobiles are also used for

stamping wheel rims, wheel discs, etc. that require a certain strength, as well as

tasteless, and the surface is bright. The tin mainly prevents corrosion and rust.

According to the production process, it is divided into hot-dip tinplate and

electroplated tinplate. Commonly used cans or beverage cans are made of

tinplate.
