Galvanized steel sheet is coated with a layer of metal zinc on the surface of the steel sheet to prevent corrosion and prolong its service life. This kind of zinc-coated steel sheet is called galvanized sheet.
Hot-dip galvanized steel sheet. The thin steel sheet is immersed in a molten zinc tank to make a thin layer of zinc adhere to its surface. It is mainly produced by continuous galvanizing process, that is, the rolled steel sheet is continuously immersed in a plating tank with molten zinc to make galvanized steel sheet;
Alloyed galvanized steel sheet. This kind of steel sheet is also made by hot dip method, but after leaving the tank, it is immediately heated to about 500ºC to form an alloy film of zinc and iron. This galvanized sheet has good adhesion and weldability of the paint;
Electrogalvanized steel sheet. This kind of galvanized steel sheet manufactured by electroplating has good processability. But the coating is thinner and the corrosion resistance is not as good as that of hot dip galvanized sheet;
Single-sided galvanized and double-sided differential galvanized steel sheet. Single-sided galvanized steel sheet, that is, products galvanized on only one side. In terms of welding, painting, anti-rust treatment, processing, etc., it has better adaptability than double-sided galvanized sheet. In order to overcome the disadvantage of single-sided uncoated zinc, there is another galvanized sheet with a thin layer of zinc coated on the other side, that is, double-sided differential galvanized sheet; the process production is to continuously immerse the rolled steel sheet in a plating tank with molten zinc to make the galvanized steel sheet
