Angle steel is a carbon structural steel for construction. It is a simple cross-section steel material, mainly used for metal components and factory frames. It is required to have good weldability, plastic deformation performance and certain mechanical strength during use. The raw material billet for producing angle steel is low-carbon square billet, and the finished angle steel is hot-rolled, normalized or hot-rolled.
The raw material billet of Channel steel is carbon steel or low alloy steel billet with carbon content not exceeding 0.25%. The finished channel steel is delivered after hot processing, normalizing or hot rolling. Its specifications are expressed in millimeters of waist height (h)*leg width (b)*waist thickness (d), such as 100*48*5.3, which means a channel steel with a waist height of 100 mm, a leg width of 48 mm, and a waist thickness of 5.3 mm, or 10# channel steel. If there are several different leg widths and waist thicknesses for the same waist height channel steel, a b c should be added to the right of the model to distinguish them, such as 25#a 25#b 25#c, etc.
