Product Description

Prestressed steel strand is a twisted steel cable consisting of 2, 3, 7 or 19 high-strength steel wires, which has been stress-relieved (stabilized) and is suitable for prestressed concrete and similar purposes.
The main characteristics of prestressed steel strand are high strength and good relaxation performance, and it is relatively straight when unfolded. The common tensile strength grade is 1860 MPa, and there are strength grades such as 1720, 1770, 1960, 2000, 2160, 2230, 2360 MPa. This steel also has a high yield strength.

Prestressed steel strands are mainly used in post-tensioned and pre-tensioned concrete projects, with the largest amount used in bridge structures.
Cast-drawn steel strands are mainly used in lifting projects, and are also used in projects such as nuclear power.
19-wire large-diameter steel strands are often used for mine support anchor cables.
Unbonded prestressed steel strands are often used in building floors and some geotechnical anchor cables.
Galvanized steel strands are often used in bridge tie rods, cables and external prestressed projects. The use of epoxy-coated steel strands is similar to that of galvanized prestressed steel strands, and is suitable for projects with high durability requirements.
